Nicholas Ramirez Killed in Belton Pedestrian Crash on North Main Street near MLK

Belton, Texas (May 29, 2023) – A man was killed Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in Belton, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:13 a.m., May 26, on North Main Street near the intersection with MLK.

Police said Nicholas Ramirez, 23, of Belton, was crossing the street when he was struck by a car. He was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, where he later died.

The accident closed the street between 6th and 10th Streets.

The police are investigating the crash.
