Nicholas Tovar ID’d as Man Killed in Robstown Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 77

Robstown, Texas (June 6, 2019) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Robstown has been identified as 21-year-old Nicholas Tovar of Corpus Christi, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner.

The fatal crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. June 5, on U.S. 77.

Police said Tovar was driving a Camaro on the highway when he collided with an 18-wheeler.

Tovar was killed in the crash.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured in the crash.

The northbound lanes of the highway were closed following the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
