Octavio Bernal Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Bulverde Road near Johnson High School and TPC Parkway

San Antonio, Texas (July 25, 2019) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in San Antonio has been identified as Octavio Bernal, 42, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The crash happened just before midnight, July 23, in the 23100 block of Bulverde Road, near Johnson High School and TPC Parkway.

Deputies said Bernal was driving a black pickup at a high rate of speed when he jumped a curb in front of the Bexar-Bulvurde Volunteer Fire Department and crashed into a parked pickup.

Responding firefighters had to pull him out of the wreckage, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
