Officer, 2 Civilians Injured in DUI Crash at 15th and Trinity Streets in Austin

Officer and Two Civilians Injured in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash at 15th and Trinity Streets

Austin, Texas (July 5, 2021) – Three people, including an APD officer, were injured Monday morning in a DUI crash in Austin, according to the police.

The crash happened around 1:15 a.m., at the intersection of 15th and Trinity Streets.

Police said a patrol unit collided with another vehicle at the intersection.

The officer was in the patrol unit at the time of the crash.

The officer and two inside the other vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle is facing a DWI charge.

The police are investigating the crash.
