Officer and Girl Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Pearsall Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 11, 2020) – A police officer and a juvenile girl were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in San Antonio, according to police.

The crash occurred on November 10, on Pearsall Road.

Police said they were called to a robbery in the 1900 block of Cupples Road.

A juvenile victim told officers that her truck had been stolen, and when she tried to get it back, the suspect ran over her, breaking her leg.

The officer spotted the suspect, a juvenile, driving erratically. They turned on their lights and attempted to stop the suspect, but she sped away.

Officers chased the vehicle to Roselawn, down to Cupples to Bynum, to Military.

The suspect then pulled onto the entrance ramp traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Pearsall Road, where she crashed into an officer heading northbound to the chase.

The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statues which were violated.
