Officer Injured in Lubbock Car Accident on Indiana Avenue near 118th Street
Lubbock, Texas (February 5, 2019) – An off-duty officer was injured last month in a two-vehicle collision in Lubbock¸ police said.
The crash occurred at around 7:30 a.m. Friday, January 18 on Indiana Avenue near 118th Street.
According to the police, the off-duty officer was driving an unmarked police car northbound on Indiana Avenue when a vehicle heading eastbound at 118th Street attempted to cross lanes of traffic and the two vehicles collided.
The off-duty officer sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
Police are investigating the accident.
