Officer Injured in Houston Crash at Tuam Street and Live Oak Street

Houston, Texas (November 17, 2019) – An Houston police officer was injured Saturday night in a traffic crash in Houston, according to a local news release.

The crash took place around 10:00 p.m. on November 16, at the intersection of Tuam Street and Live Oak Street.

Police said the officer was pursuing a suspect who had stolen an ATM when he collided with a wrecker.

The officer was taken to the hospital with wrist and leg injuries.

The wrecker driver was uninjured in the crash.

Police didn’t say if they were able to catch the theft suspect.

An investigation is underway.
