Officer Injured in DUI Crash on North Hall Street in Dallas

Officer Hospitalized after Dallas Crash on North Hall Street near Main Street; Francisco Fernandez Arrested

Dallas, Texas (May 27, 2023) – A Dallas officer was injured in a DUI crash in Dallas on Thursday, according to police.

The wreck occurred in the 100 block of North Hall Street near Main Street.

Police said the officer was driving on North Hall Street, approaching Main Street, when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Francisco Fernandez, 39.

The officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Fernandez, who was not injured, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The crash remains under investigation.
