Officer Injured in DWI Crash on Wilcrest and Briar Forest in Houston

Police Officer Injured in West Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Wilcrest and Briar Forest

Houston, Texas (February 27, 2023) – According to the authorities, a police officer was injured Saturday night in a crash with a suspected intoxicated driver in west Houston.

The crash happened around 11:00 p.m., February 25, on Wilcrest and Briar Forest.

Police said the suspected intoxicated driver rear-ended an HPD vehicle, sending it into the back of another HPD vehicle.

One of the police officers was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The suspected intoxicated driver was arrested.

The police are investigating the crash.
