Police Officer Hospitalized after Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Bryan Street

Dallas, Texas (August 14, 2019) – A police officer was seriously injured after being struck by a train Tuesday afternoon in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The accident was reported at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 13 on Bryan Street.

According to a police report, the officer from the Dallas Police Department was walking through the area when for an unknown reason, a Dallas Area Rapid Transit train hit him.

The unidentified officer was transported to Baylor Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the DART police.
