7-Year-Old Olivia Lozano Killed in Jim Wells County Car Crash on Highway 359 near FM 3376

Jim Wells County, Texas (November 16, 2019) – The 7-year-old who was injured last week Friday in a traffic collision in Jim Wells County near Alice has died, according to the deputies.

The crash happened on Friday, November 8, on Highway 359 near FM 3376.

Deputies said a truck was trying to get ahead of a car to turn when the two vehicles collided.

7-year-old Olivia Lozano and two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Lozano succumbed to her injuries at Driscoll Children’s Hospital on Thursday afternoon, November 14.

An investigation is underway.
