Omar Duran Killed in Head-On Crash on Green Mountain Road in San Antonio

Omar Duran ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Green Mountain Road

San Antonio, Texas (February 10, 2020) – The man who was killed in a head-on collision Friday night in San Antonio has been identified as 32-year-old Omar Duran, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

The deadly crash happened around 7:30 p.m. February 7, on Green Mountain Road.

Police said Duran was driving an SUV southbound, erratically and at a high rate of speed when he hit the railroad tracks, lost control, and crashed head-on into a northbound four-door sedan.

Duran was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sedan driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
