One Injured in Lubbock Big Rig Crash on University and South Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (May 16, 2019) – A crash involving a car and a big rig left one person injured on Tuesday night in Lubbock, according to the police.
The wreck, which was reported around 10 p.m. May 14, took place at the intersection of University and South Loop 289.
A car reportedly T-boned a semi-truck big rig for unknown reasons.
The EMS crews responded to the incident and found one moderately injured victim.
The identity of the injured victim was not immediately released.
The Lubbock Police Department is investigating the incident.
