1 Hospitalized after Killeen School Bus Crash on Chaparral Road at White Castle Lane

Killeen, Texas (October 30, 2019) – One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic collision involving a school bus in Killeen, according to the authorities.

The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. October 29, in the area of Chaparral Road and White Castle Lane.

Authorities said a Trimmier Elementary School bus was heading southeast on Chaparral Road when it was hit by an oncoming car.

None of the thirteen students aboard the bus were injured.

The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The bus driver was uninjured in the crash.

The bus had to be towed away from the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
