One Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Airline and Crosstimbers in Houston

Driver Injured in Houston Car Crash at Airline and Crosstimbers

Houston, Texas (November 24, 2020) – A driver was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Monday in north Houston, according to police.

The crash happened on November 23, at the intersection of Airline and Crosstimbers.

According to police, witnesses said a pickup truck hit a BMW at the intersection of Airline and the North Loop.

The BMW then began chasing the pickup, and the vehicles were traveling northbound on Airline at a high rate of speed.

The pickup then drove into oncoming traffic at the intersection of Airline and the North Loop, and it T-boned another vehicle before crashing into a vacant building.

The innocent driver was rescued by a passing wrecker driver. She was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The pickup driver fled the scene on foot while BMW drove away.

The pickup driver was later found and was taken into custody.

The police are looking for the driver of the BMW.

The crash remains under investigation.
