One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Houston Harte Frontage Road in San Angelo

One Hospitalized After San Angelo Multi-Vehicle Crash on Houston Harte Frontage Road

San Angelo, Texas (February 27, 2021) – One person was injured early Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to authorities.

The crash happened on February 26, on the Houston Harte Frontage Road Westbound.

Police said a white Chevrolet pick-up pulling a trailer was traveling westbound on the frontage road while several other vehicles were stopped at the yield sign.

The Chevrolet driver failed to control their speed and struck a Nissan passenger car. The impact pushed the Nissan into a Toyota passenger car, which then pushed it into a yellow Dodge pick-up, causing it to hit a white Ford Van.

The Toyota driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Chevrolet driver was cited for failure to control speed.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
