One Injured in Paving Roller Crash on 28th Street in San Angelo

One Injured in San Angelo Paving Roller Crash on 28th Street near Blum

San Angelo, Texas (August 11, 2020) – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident involving a paving roller in north San Angelo, according to police.

The crash occurred on August 10, on 28th Street near Blum.

Police said the paving roller was part of a work crew seal coating streets. It was making a left hand turn when it struck a westbound white SUV.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the roller was issued a citation.

The crash remains under investigation.
