Driver Injured in Montgomery County Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 2090 at Philmore

Montgomery County, Texas (February 21, 2020) – One person was injured Friday morning in a chain-reaction crash involving a Conroe ISD bus in Montgomery County, authorities said.

The crash happened just after 7:00 a.m. on FM 2090 at Philmore.

Authorities said the bus was traveling westbound and was picking up Crighton Elementary School students with its stop sign activated.

An eastbound pickup truck stopped for the bus and was rear-ended by a Mazda driven by a male.

The impact caused the pickup to hit the bus and then slide into a ditch.

The female driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Mazda driver and all the 23 students on the bus were uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.

We wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
