One Injured in Truck Crash on Ben Ficklin Rd. and S. Bryant Blvd in San Angelo

Driver Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Ficklin Road and S. Bryant Boulevard

San Angelo, Texas (July 7, 2020) – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a truck accident in San Angelo, according to police.

The crash happened on July 6, at the intersection of Ficklin Road and S. Bryant Boulevard (U.S. 87).

Police said a white Ford F-550 truck was heading northbound on U.S. 87 while a black Honda was traveling on Ben Ficklin Road, attempting to turn left onto U.S. 87 southbound.

The truck driver ran the red light and crashed into the black car.

The car driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The truck driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The crash remains under investigation.
