San Angelo, Texas (April 7, 2021) – One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at a San Angelo intersection, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on April 6, at the intersection of MLK and 29th Street.

Police said a black Buick passenger car was traveling on MLK while a yellow Mustang was traveling southbound on MLK.

The Buick attempted to turn left onto 29th Street, failed to yield the right of way, and crashed into the Mustang.

A passenger in the Buick was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Buick driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way and for not having a valid driver’s license.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
