One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 87 at Loop 306 in San Angelo

1 Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 87 at Loop 306

San Angelo, Texas (November 26, 2019) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in San Angelo, according to a local news release.

The collision took place on Monday, November 25, near the overpass of U.S. Highway 87 S. and the Loop 306 access road.

DPS said a black Hyundai was traveling northbound on U.S. 87 while a silver Honda was stopped at a stop sign westbound on Loop 306 near the overpass. 

The Hyundai ran the stop sign and was T-boned by the Honda.

The Hyundai driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Two dogs in the Honda were uninjured.

The Hyundai driver will be cited for failure to yield the right of way. 

The crash remains under investigation.
