One Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas 16 near Helotes

San Antonio, Texas (October 24, 2020) – One person was killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 6:20 a.m., October 23, in the 22500 block of Texas 16, near Helotes.

Deputies said the crash involved a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler.

The pickup driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of Texas 16 for several hours.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
