One Killed in Fiery Crash on IH-45 in Walker County

Driver Killed in Walker County Car Crash on IH-45 near Huntsville

Walker County, Texas (March 9, 2020) – One person was killed in a fiery traffic collision on Sunday in Walker County near Huntsville, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash occurred on Sunday, March 8, on IH-45 near mile marker 109.

According to the DPS, an 18 wheeler collided with a passenger car on the highway.

The driver of the passenger car was killed in the crash.

Northbound traffic was diverted to FM 1375, and southbound traffic was diverted at Park Road 49.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
