One Killed in Houston Hit-and-Run Crash on North Loop West

Houston, Texas – According to the police, a person was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in Houston.

The deadly accident happened around 10:25 p.m., February 22, in the 1200 block of North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) service road.

Police said a person was crossing the highway when he was struck by a black Honda Pilot which was traveling eastbound on the service road.

The Pilot driver fled the scene after the accident.

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information on the wanted driver is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run unit at 713-247-4065 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
