1 Killed in Galveston Motorcycle Accident on FM 3005

Galveston, Texas (November 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning in a head-on collision on the West End of Galveston Island, police said.

The crash occurred at about 2:00 a.m. November 3, on FM 3005, between 11 Mile and 12 Mile roads.

Police said a motorcycle was heading westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on into a pickup truck.

The motorcyclist was taken to a University of Texas Medical Branch hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The pickup truck and a passenger in the truck were uninjured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
