One Killed in Hunt County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 11 near FM 1563

Hunt County, Texas (December 14, 2019) – One person was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Hunt County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash occurred around 5:00 a.m. December 13, on State Highway 11 near FM 1563.

DPS said a tractor-trailer was heading eastbound while a black Chevrolet pickup was heading westbound on the highway.

For an unknown reason, the Chevrolet veered into the eastbound lane and struck the tractor-trailer.

The Chevrolet driver was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
