Oralia Castillo ID’d as Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Nacogdoches Road and Hillpoint

San Antonio, Texas (February 27, 2020) – The woman who was fatally hit by a pickup truck Wednesday morning in San Antonio has been identified as Oralia Castillo, 65, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

The deadly accident occurred just before 6:00 a.m. February 26, on Nacogdoches Road and Hillpoint, just south of Wurzbach Parkway.

Police said Castillo was crossing the street, in an area that is not well-lit, when she was struck by a white pickup truck.

Castillo was declared dead at the scene.

The pickup driver stopped at the scene after the accident.

The crash closed both directions of Nacogdoches Road.

An investigation is underway.
