Paul Mullen Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Congress Avenue at Industrial Boulevard

Austin, Texas (October 8, 2022) – According to the police, the man who was killed on September 30 in a pedestrian accident in Austin has been identified as 72-year-old Paul Mullen.

The deadly accident happened around 10:54 p.m., at the intersection of S Congress Avenue and Industrial Boulevard.

Police said Mullen was crossing the road when he was struck by a Penske yellow box truck that was traveling in the northbound inside lane on Congress.

Mullen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
