Payden Lee Godwin Killed in Bonham Three-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 82

Bonham, Texas (October 31, 2019) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Bonham, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place around 8:30 a.m. October 30, on U.S. Highway 82 between S.H. 121 and S.H. 78.

Authorities said Payden Lee Godwin, 28, of Dodd City, was driving eastbound on the highway when he crossed into the westbound lanes and hit two other vehicles.

Godwin was pronounced dead at the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries.
