Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on St. Mary’s Street and West Market Street
San Antonio, Texas (March 21, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a tour bus Wednesday afternoon in San Antonio, according to police.
The fatal crash happened at around 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of St. Mary’s Street.
Police said a woman in her early 30s was on the crosswalk in the West Market Street intersection when she was hit by a Regent Coach Line charter bus that was turning left onto Market Street.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released pending identification and notification of family.
The driver of the bus stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
Police are investigating the accident.
