Man Killed in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Crash on SPID at Everhart Road

Corpus Christi, Texas (February 10, 2019) – A man died after he was hit by a vehicle in Corpus Christi early Sunday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at about 4:30 a.m. on SPID near Everhart Road.
Corpus Christi police said the man was driving a Honda Civic when it stalled along the access road near Best Buy. As the man was trying to push the vehicle off the road, he was hit by a passing motorist.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the parties involved in the accident were not immediately released.
Police are investigating the incident.
