Person Killed in Copperas Cove Train Accident on Farm Road 1113

Copperas Cove, Texas (March 15, 2019) – A person was struck and killed by a train on Thursday morning in Copperas Cove, according to the DPS.
The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. March 14 near the 1200 block of Farm Road 1113 (West Avenue B).
Police said a pedestrian was walking westbound on the train tracks when they were hit by a westbound train.
The victim died in the crash. No details were provided on the victim’s identity.
Police in Copperas Cove are investigating the incident.
