One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Marsha Sharp Freeway near University Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (May 31, 2022) – One person was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a pedestrian accident in Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident happened just before 1:30 p.m., on the Marsha Sharp Freeway near University Avenue.

Police said the pedestrian was on the main lanes of the freeway when they were struck by a vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
