Pedestrian Injured in Longview Hit-and-Run Accident on McCann Road
Longview, Texas (May 7, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist Thursday night in Longview, according to the Longview Police Department.
The crash was reported at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in the 1000 block of McCann Road.
Police said a vehicle was traveling southbound on McCann Road when it hit the pedestrian.
First responders found the female pedestrian lying in the roadway. She was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The involved driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle has been described as a white Ford F-150 pickup truck with a toolbox in the truck bed. It has possible damage to the front of the vehicle.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
