One Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (October 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler early Wednesday morning in Austin, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:00 a.m., on Interstate 35.

Police said a person was walking on the interstate when they were struck by an 18-wheeler.

The victim was killed in the crash.

The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation is ongoing.
