Person Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on South Main Street at South Post Oak

Houston, Texas (April 22, 2022) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a train Thursday afternoon in southwest Houston, authorities said.

The deadly crash occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on April 21 on South Main Street at South Post Oak.

According to the authorities, the pedestrian stepped in front of a train.

The pedestrian died in the crash. The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of the family.

It is still unclear if the victim stepped in front of the train intentionally.

The crash remains under investigation.
