Person Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Blue Bluff Road near Esquire Acres Lane

Austin, Texas (June 13, 2022) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Austin, according to authorities.

The fatal pedestrian crash occurred just before 7:00 a.m. on Blue Bluff Road between Esquire Acres Lane and Decker Lake Road.

Authorities said a vehicle hit the pedestrian on the roadway under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian, whose name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin, died in the crash.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The accident remains under investigation.
