Man Killed in West Oak Cliff Pedestrian Accident on Fort Worth Avenue near Westmoreland Road
West Oak Cliff, Texas (September 24, 2022) – A male pedestrian died after he was struck early Saturday morning by a vehicle in West Oak Cliff, according to the Dallas Police Department.
The deadly crash occurred shortly before 1:40 a.m., in the 3000 block of Fort Worth Avenue, near Westmoreland Road.
Dallas police said the man was in the roadway, outside of the crosswalk, when he was hit by a vehicle whose driver did not stop.
The man was then hit by a second vehicle and also fled the scene.
The man whose name was not immediately provided was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities are looking for the hit-and-run divers.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the crash is asked to call Dallas police.
