Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 35 near Braker Lane

Austin, Texas (December 5, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Friday night in Austin, according to police.

The deadly accident happened just before 11:00 p.m., December 4, on Interstate 35 service road, near Braker Lane.

Police said the man was struck by an intoxicated driver on the service road.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Officers said the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

No other information was provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
