One Killed in Northwest Austin Pedestrian Accident on Parmer Lane

Austin, Texas (May 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in northwest Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident occurred at about 4:40 p.m. May 20, in the 7900 block of Parmer Lane.

Officials said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on Parmer Lane.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The accident closed Parmer Lane west of SH 130.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
