Person Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on United Drive

Houston, Texas (April 18, 2022) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday afternoon in southwest Houston, authorities said.

The deadly crash occurred at around 12:25 p.m. in the 9800 block of United Drive.

A pickup truck, driven by a 15-year-old, hit the pedestrian on United Drive under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian, whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, died as a result of the accident.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The accident remains under investigation.
