1 Killed in Henderson County Pedestrian Accident on State Highway 31
Henderson County, Texas (June 28, 2019) – A person was killed in a pedestrian accident Tuesday night in Henderson County west of Athens, according to the troopers.
The deadly accident happened around 10:25 p.m. June 25, on State Highway 31.
According to a preliminary investigation, Chloee Alyssa Raley, 20, of Athens, was driving a 2016 Dodge Dart, westbound in the right lane of the highway and hit a pedestrian who had walked from the center of SH-31 into the right lane.
The pedestrian was pronounced at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
An investigation is ongoing.
