45-Year-Old Man Dies in Houston Pedestrian Accident on South Post Oak Road 

Houston, Texas (August 19, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night in Houston, according to a police report.

The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at around 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 in the 16300 block of South Post Oak Road.

As per the report, the pedestrian, a 45-year-old man, was walking in the street at South Post Oak Road when for reasons still under investigation, he was hit by a black Mercury Mariner that was heading northbound on South Post Oak Road.

The 18-year-old driver of the Mariner stopped to render aid to the victim until paramedics arrived and declared the man dead.

Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
