Man Injured in Corpus Christi Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on South Ayers Street

Corpus Christi, Texas (March 18, 2020) – A man in his 40s was injured early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The accident happened on Tuesday, March 17, on South Ayers Street.

Police said the man was hit by an unknown vehicle on the street. The victim was found by a passerby who called the authorities.

The involved vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The authorities are looking for the suspect who could face a charge of hit-and-run with additional charges depending on the extent of the victim’s injuries.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
