Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run on Dolph Street in Nacogdoches; Ray McCollister Arrested

Man Injured in Nacogdoches Pedestrian Accident on Dolph Street near Oak Hill Plaza Apartments; Ray McCollister Arrested

Nacogdoches, Texas (August 30, 2022) – According to the police, a pedestrian was injured on Saturday in a hit-and-run accident in Nacogdoches.

The accident happened on August 27, in the 1400 block of Dolph Street near the Oak Hill Plaza Apartments.

Police said Ray McCollister, 26, of Center, was driving when he struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

McCollister was later arrested and charged with an accident involving injury.

The police are investigating the crash.
