Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident at William Cannon Drive and I-35

Austin, Texas (November 22, 2019) – A man in his 50s was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in Austin, according to a local news release.

The deadly accident occurred on Thursday, November 21, at the intersection of William Cannon Drive and I-35.

Police said the man was trying to cross William Cannon Drive when he was hit by a westbound vehicle. He was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

An investigation is ongoing.
