Man Dies in San Antonio Hit-And-run Crash on Callaghan Road

San Antonio, Texas (January 21, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s Northwest Side on Sunday night, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at about 10:30 p.m. January 20 in the 6900 block of Callaghan Road.
Police said an alleged drunk driver fled the scene after hitting a man in the roadway.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The police later located the vehicle and the driver involved with the assistance of tips given by witnesses.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
