58-Year-Old Man Killed in Las Cruces Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Solano Drive

Las Cruces, Texas (October 26, 2019) – A 58-year-old man was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in Las Cruces, police said.

The deadly accident took place just before 7:00 p.m. October 25, in the 1400 block of Solano Drive.

Police said the man was walking across the street when he was hit by a black pickup truck and then a silver or white car.

Both vehicles fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to Mountainview Regional Medical Center where he later died.

Investigators said the first car was a 2003 to 2007 Chevrolet single-cab truck. Both vehicles will have visible front damage.
