One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Loop near Clinton Road

Houston, Texas (January 10, 2022) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle Sunday night in Houston, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., January 9, in the 900 block of East Loop near Clinton Road.

Authorities said a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on the freeway.

The victim was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

It is unclear if the driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The accident closed the southbound lanes of the East Loop for almost two weeks.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
