Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Forest Lane in Dallas

One Person Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Forest Lane

Dallas, Texas (November 6, 2022) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Saturday in northeast Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The deadly crash occurred just after midnight on Saturday, November 5, in the 9900 block of Forest Lane.

Dallas police said the pedestrian walked onto the roadway while on his phone and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed.

The pedestrian, only identified as a male victim, was thrown off of the road and into a brick wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. Authorities have described the suspect’s car as a black 2008-2012 Honda Accord with a missing passenger side mirror. The car has extreme damage on the passenger side, the front right headlights, a windshield, and the body of the car.

Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
